The city of Binket is a new city center which appeared after the destruction of the Ming-Uryuk settlement on the banks of the Boz-su canal. A new economic recovery underway in the second half of the ninth century contributed to the intensive development of urban culture. The name Binket became Tashkent in the 11th century. However, it is still found in some sources from the 12th century.
When disclosing this subject, it is necessary to note the state of the city after the invasion of Genghis Khan and its restoration during the reign of Temur. The monuments that remain in the old part of the city mainly relate to the period of the Sheibanikhanov dynasty.
